Deck overview

This deck is a high-powered 5-color Dragon tribal list commanded by The Ur-Dragon. It accelerates its game plan using 1-CMC mana dorks, fast artifacts, rituals, and the passive eminence cost reduction from the command zone. The deck transitions into the mid-game by cheating high-impact Dragons into play with Sneak Attack, Hellkite Courser, and reanimation spells. Its primary route to victory is an infinite combat loop using Aggravated Assault paired with mana-generating Dragons such as Savage Ventmaw, Klauth, Unrivaled Ancient, or Old Gnawbone. A robust interactive package of free counterspells, targeted removal, and proactive silence effects like Dragonlord Dromoka and Silence defends the board and protects the winning turn. If the infinite combat line is disrupted, the deck pivots into direct damage triggers from Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas, backed by token duplication from Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm.
