Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Jund aristocrats and combo engine led by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch. It leverages -1/-1 counters as both resource generation and creature removal. Placing counters on your own creatures triggers Auntie Ool to draw cards, while placing them on opposing creatures drains their controllers' life totals. The deck ramps aggressively on Turns 1-2 to deploy Auntie Ool and counter enablers like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician by Turn 4. From this engine, it rapidly digs into decisive infinite loops using Blowfly Infestation with token generators or Devoted Druid with Quillspike, closing games on Turn 5 via drain payoffs such as Obelisk Spider, Bastion of Remembrance, and All Will Be One. Concurrently, asymmetric floodgates like Kulrath Knight and Maha, Its Feathers Night suppress opposing creature boards completely.
