Thranduil, the Elvenking heads an Elf-ball combo deck that leans on Thranduil's graveyard-activated-ability text to turn binned Elves into reusable mana engines. The primary plan is to accelerate into Thranduil, dig for Staff of Domination, and loop untap abilities for infinite mana, then kill through Finale of Devastation, Ezuri, Renegade Leader, or Tyvar, the Pummeler. Secondary wins use Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or a swarm of Elf tokens from Thranduil the Strategist. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander; the deck is built around Thranduil, the Elvenking's draw and activated-ability engine.
