Deck overview

This Orzhov deck uses Clavileño, First of the Blessed to drive a resilient Vampire tribal and Aristocrats engine. The primary gameplan deploys low-cost Vampires early, casts Clavileño on Turn 3, and attacks on Turn 4 to mark an attacker as a Demon. When that creature dies via combat or sacrifice outlets like Bartolomé del Presidio, Clavileño replaces it with a card and an evasive 4/3 flying Vampire Demon token. By Turn 6, these flying threats combine with tribal lords and aristocrat drain triggers such as Blood Artist, Sanctum Seeker, and Malakir Bloodwitch to close the game across two attack cycles. The deck also includes potent two-card infinite life-drain loops via Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. High-efficiency spot removal and asymmetric sweepers provide strong interaction against opposing threats.
