Deck overview

This is a mono-black Braids, Arisen Nightmare sacrifice deck. Its normal plan is to produce disposable creatures with Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Ophiomancer, or Dreadhorde Invasion, sacrifice them to Braids, Arisen Nightmare, and turn opposing choices into cards, life loss, or permanent attrition. The strongest board-control package is Dictate of Erebos plus recurring fodder, which can repeatedly remove opposing creatures while the deck develops. Recursion from Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodghast, Nine-Lives Familiar, and several reanimation spells supports recovery. The deck has good redundancy in sacrifice and death-payoff roles, but its curve is high, its tutors are limited, and it has almost no protection. It can eventually close with Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Kokusho, the Evening Star, or Exsanguinate, but those are late payoffs rather than a reliable compact combo. Its ordinary strength is sustained creature attrition, not a fast or deterministic win.
