Deck overview

This Golgari Squirrel tribal deck, helmed by Camellia, the Seedmiser, is a slow-grinding token-value strategy that generates and sacrifices Food tokens to amass an army of Squirrels. The commander gives all Squirrels menace, creates a replacement Squirrel when you sacrifice a Food, and can forage to pump the team. The core engine is token generation - cards like Peregrin Took, Academy Manufactor and Chatterfang, Squirrel General multiply every token you make. The primary path to victory is an overwhelming combat swing with pump spells such as Overrun or Preposterous Proportions, or a drain finish via Mirkwood Bats or Nadier's Nightblade. A compact infinite combo (Scurry Oak + Ivy Lane Denizen) can create an arbitrarily large Squirrel army. The deck has strong recursion through Curious Forager, Osteomancer Adept, and Trail of Crumbs, but its lack of tutors and stack interaction keeps it firmly in the mid-power, fair-magic territory.
