Deck overview

This mono-black Zombie tribal deck is commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on generating overwhelming creature swarms and converting them into lethal combat damage and aristocrat life drain. The early game focuses on deploying resilient Zombie fodder such as Gravecrawler and Cryptbreaker alongside acceleration like Arcane Signet and Sol Ring. Once Gisa resolves, she sacrifices high-power creatures to double token production each turn. Tribal lords including Death Baron, Undead Warchief, and Lord of the Accursed turn 2/2 tokens into lethal threats while providing evasion. If combat stalls, life-draining pieces such as Gray Merchant of Asphodel, Ayara, First of Locthwain, and Vengeful Dead bypass blockers entirely. While the deck lacks instant-speed stack interaction and dedicated artifact removal, its strong tribal synergy, deep card-draw engines, and steady graveyard recursion give it resilient mid-game staying power.
