Deck overview

This deck is a focused Esper Voltron and equipment tempo strategy led by Jin Sakai, Ghost of Tsushima. The commander provides an adaptable combat engine: attacking alone grants either double strike through Standoff or unblockability through Ghost, while dealing combat damage replenishes your hand. The list accelerates into early equipment tutors like Stoneforge Mystic and Steelshaper's Gift to fetch explosive weapons like Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Buster Sword, and Blackblade Reforged. Cheat-equip enablers including Sigarda's Aid, Puresteel Paladin, and Forge Anew bypass mana bottlenecks, enabling a Turn 4 lethal commander damage attack against the highest-priority target. Supported by free interaction like Force of Will and Pact of Negation, phase-out protection from Teferi's Protection, and independent backup threats such as Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon and Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, the deck maintains consistent pressure across three combat cycles to eliminate the table by Turn 6.
