Rendmaw - Crows by UUolf

Format: Commander

Commander: Rendmaw, Creaking Nest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Rendmaw is the engine and finisher. The plan is to get him out early, then cast as many two-card-type spells as possible (enchantment creatures, artifact creatures, artifact lands, kindred cards) so every player makes a goaded Bird; your Birds attack, opponents' Birds attack each other. Doubling Season and Primal Vigor multiply the Bird output, while Coat of Arms turns the accumulated flock into a lethal army. Secondary lines use Grist, Biotransference, Ezuri's Predation, and graveyard recursion from Whip of Erebos and Conduit of Worlds to grind or wipe the board. There is no hidden commander; Grist is a value engine, not the focus.
