Deck overview

This Edgar Markov deck is an optimized Vampire tribal aristocrats strategy that leverages free Eminence token generation to create overwhelming board presence, persistent life drain, and asymmetric board control. Casting cheap Vampires on Turns 1 through 3 builds a wide token army at no additional mana cost. The deck rapidly converts this board into card advantage through Skullclamp and Champion of Dusk, while Cordial Vampire and Captivating Vampire magnify combat pressure. By Turn 4, damage multipliers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and stax effects like Grave Pact establish a dominant board state. The deck finishes games on Turn 6 via wide combat swings buffed by Edgar Markov or Akroma's Will, aristocrat death triggers, or the infinite life-drain combo of Exquisite Blood paired with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. High-quality instant protection in Dawn's Truce defends the army against removal.
