Deck overview

This is a +1/+1 counters-matter deck helmed by the partner pair Cazur, Ruthless Stalker and Ukkima, Stalking Shadow. The primary game plan is to deploy evasive, unblockable creatures, connect with opponents to trigger Cazur's counter-placement and various combat-damage draw engines, then snowball those counters with doublers like Corpsejack Menace and Hardened Scales. Felix Five-Boots doubles all combat-damage triggers, accelerating both counter growth and card advantage. The deck wins through overwhelming combat damage (often via commander damage from Ukkima or a giant Hydra's Growth-fueled creature) or the alternate condition Simic Ascendancy once twenty growth counters accumulate. Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow provides additional reach and card selection via ninjutsu. The strategy is linear but resilient within its theme, relying on a steady stream of unblockable threats and counter synergy.
