Cowabunga by Kaiser1221

Format: Commander

Commander: Leonardo, the Balance and Raphael, the Muscle

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Leonardo and Raphael are a paired counter-token engine. Leonardo turns every token entry into a once-per-turn global +1/+1 pump, and his WUBRG activation adds trample, menace, and lifelink for the kill swing. Raphael doubles all combat damage from creatures with counters, turning a modest board into one-shot attacks. The 99 accelerates this with token producers (Krenko, Rite of the Raging Storm, Tendershoot Dryad) and counter/token multipliers (Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, Hardened Scales). Donatello, the Brains is a hidden commander in the 99, creating an extra Mutagen token with every token. Secondary paths are treasure/big-mana from Old Gnawbone and Descent into Avernus, and Nacatl War-Pride as a one-card alpha strike.
