Deck overview

This Temur spellslinger deck leverages Riku of Many Paths to turn modal instants and sorceries into a self-sustaining value and token engine. By casting flexible Charms, Commands, and Spree spells, Riku continuously generates flying Bird tokens, applies +1/+1 counters, and provides impulse card flow. Mana ramp in the early turns leads to an assembled engine by Turn 4. From there, the deck stacks magecraft payoffs such as Archmage Emeritus, Veyran, Voice of Duality, and Storm-Kiln Artist. Critical onset arrives around Turn 6 via powerful damage multipliers like Thousand-Year Storm, Level 3 Sorcerer Class, or Guttersnipe, quickly burning out opponents or overrunning them with evasive tokens buffed by Balmor, Battlemage Captain on Turn 7. The deck excels in tactical flexibility, carrying a broad suite of modal interaction and protection, though it remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes.
