Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a five-color Myr tribal deck built around Urtet, Remnant of Memnarch, which generates a token on every Myr spell and untaps all Myr each combat. The primary game plan is to amass a critical mass of Myr tokens and artifact creatures, then close out the game through pump effects like Tempered Steel and Vanquisher's Banner, or by deploying Myr Battlesphere for burst damage. The deck also includes a recursion engine (Scrap Trawler, Teshar, Ancestor's Apostle, Dance of the Manse) to grind through board wipes, and an alternate win condition in Mirrodin Besieged (Phyrexian mode). While it lacks infinite combos, the deck's density of redundant Myr creatures and token generators gives it a resilient midrange combat plan. The commander is a value engine that accelerates the board, but the deck can function without him thanks to other token makers and pump effects.
