Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Eldrazi midrange strategy built around Azlask, the Swelling Scourge, leveraging colorless token generation, counter manipulation, and explosive combat finishes. The deck accelerates through a dense suite of 2-CMC Talismans, Signets, and cost reducers to establish Azlask alongside token engines like Path of Annihilation, From Beyond, and Glaring Fleshraker. As Eldrazi Scions and Spawns are sacrificed for mana or die in combat, Azlask rapidly accumulates experience counters, which can also be multiplied using proliferate cards such as Evolution Sage and Atraxa, Praetors' Voice. Once 5–8 experience counters are amassed, activating Azlask's {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} ability converts tiny tokens into indestructible, Annihilator-wielding beaters that decimate opposing permanents and close out the game in rapid combat steps. Secondary routes featuring Dark Depths combos and infect threats provide potent backup paths to victory.
