Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul tribal midrange list commanded by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The core strategy revolves around giving every player Banana artifact tokens, then punishing opponents when those artifacts are sacrificed or destroyed by putting +1/+1 counters on your Ape and Monkey creatures. The deck leverages high artifact-destruction density with cards like Gorilla Shaman, Uktabi Orangutan, and Kogla, the Titan Ape to keep opposing boards clear while continuously inflating your team. Card advantage engines such as Viridian Revel and Garruk's Uprising keep the hand full of gas. The deck ultimately closes games through overwhelming combat damage, using trample and power-boosting finishers like Overwhelming Stampede. A secondary late-game lockout exists through Karn, the Great Creator and Mycosynth Lattice, though without dedicated tutors, the deck reliably wins through creature combat.
