Cruel Kingpin by user9978207

Format: Commander

Commander: Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin turns exact one-life loss increments into a massive card advantage and board-scaling engine. The primary game plan revolves around deploying low-cost repeatable damage triggers, such as pingers like Thermo-Alchemist and Blood Artist, to exile large portions of the library while growing Ob Nixilis into a lethal flying, trample threat. The deck wins primarily through an infinite ping loop combining Ob Nixilis with Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute. When Casey Jones deals one damage after Ob Nixilis receives a counter, an automatic deterministic loop burns the entire table out. Alternatively, the deck closes games via commander damage or overwhelming attrition.
