Angels by user7994443

Format: Commander

Commander: Giada, Font of Hope

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-white Angel tribal built to make Giada, Font of Hope the engine and payoff. Giada is both a mana dork for Angel spells and a counter engine that makes every Angel after the first enter bigger. The primary plan is to curve into evasive Angels, gain life while attacking, and finish with a wide flying board plus mass flying/lifelink anthems. Secondary paths include flicker-based ETB value, landfall recursion from Emeria Shepherd, and token generation via Emeria Angel and Valkyrie Harbinger. Board wipes such as Damning Verdict punish opponents while leaving counter-heavy Angels standing. There is no hidden commander and no infinite combo; the deck wins by incremental Angel combat damage and must protect its board to close out games.
