Deck overview

This deck is a Bant creature-synergy strategy built around Helga, Skittish Seer. The game plan focuses on casting creature spells with mana value 4 or greater and spells with {X} in their costs. Each qualifying spell triggers Helga to draw a card, gain 1 life, and place a +1/+1 counter on herself, increasing the mana she can produce. Early turns establish mana fixing and acceleration with ramp spells such as Cultivate, Simic Signet, and Growth Spiral, leading to a Turn 3 Helga cast. Once active, Helga fuels a continuous flow of large creatures like Rampaging Baloths, Hamza, Guardian of Arashin, Primordial Hydra, and Hydroid Krasis. The deck closes games through massive combat damage, utilizing evasion, trample, and one-sided tempo tools like River's Rebuke and Lorthos, the Tidemaker to clear opposing blockers while safeguarding the board with Unbreakable Formation.
