Deck overview

This Gruul artifact stompy deck is commanded by Aerid Konstrari, an evasive legendary creature that generates Heartwood mana tokens on enters and dies triggers while acting as a repeatable late-game mana sink and artifact-scaled combat threat. The primary game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns using low-cost mana rocks, artifact creatures, and artifact lands. On Turn 4, the deck deploys Aerid to establish a growing artifact board presence. By Turn 6, the deck converts its artifact count into decisive pressure, activating Aerid's pump ability for massive commander damage or deploying catastrophic artifact beaters such as Blightsteel Colossus, Craterclaw Colossus, and Depthshaker Titan. The list is fortified with flexible interaction and instant-speed protection like Heroic Intervention and Bolt Bend to preserve its board against targeted removal, finishing opponents across consecutive combat phases by Turn 8.
