Deck overview

Kaalia of the Vast leads an aggressive flying beatdown deck built around cheating colossal Angels, Demons, and Dragons onto the battlefield without paying their steep mana costs. The game plan focuses on establishing Mardu colors by turn four to cast Kaalia, immediately swinging on turn five to drop decisive threats into combat tapped and attacking. Primary paths to victory rely on overwhelming combat damage supported by extra combat steps from Aurelia, the Warleader and Desert Were-Worm, burn damage from Drakuseth, Maw of Flames and Scourge of Valkas, and devastating damage multiplication via Archfiend of Despair to rapidly eliminate three opponents simultaneously.
