The rises of the Phyrexians by LttlMouse

Format: Commander

Commander: Omnath, Locus of All

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Phyrexian midrange deck helmed by Omnath, Locus of All, using its first-main-phase ability to generate card advantage and explosive mana whenever you reveal a card with three or more colored mana symbols. The primary win condition is **poison counters** - the deck fields a dense suite of toxic creatures (Tyrranax Atrocity, Branchblight Stalker, Venerated Rotpriest) and proliferate effects (Tainted Observer, Venser, Corpse Puppet, Brokers Ascendancy) to accelerate the clock. Monument to Perfection provides a one-shot finish by becoming a 9/9 indestructible toxic 9 threat once you control nine different basic, Sphere, or Locus land names. The deck also packs recursion engines (Yore-Tiller Nephilim, Emet-Selch, Unsundered Hades) and a robust interaction suite to grind out value. It is a slow, value-oriented deck that lacks fast combos but compensates with high redundancy and incremental advantage.
