Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Bant aggro-engine list commander by Sophia, Dogged Detective. The strategy focuses on deploying low-cost Dogs and token synergizers in the early turns, establishing Sophia on turn 4 to create Tiny and initiate a self-sustaining combat engine. Whenever Dogs connect with opponents, Sophia produces Food and Clue tokens, which can be sacrificed to place +1/+1 counters on every Dog you control. Supported by token amplifiers such as Academy Manufactor and Peregrin Took, along with mana enablers like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, the deck quickly builds a wide, tall board state. It closes out games between turns 5 and 7 by granting unblockability through Herald of Secret Streams, Whirler Rogue, or equipment, bypassing opposing blockers to deal lethal combat damage across the table. While it excels at board presence and creature protection, it lacks countermagic and hard interaction against fast combo strategies.
