Deck overview

This deck is a focused Naya Dinosaur Midrange deck commanded by Pantlaza, Sun-Favored. The primary strategy focuses on deploying 1-2 CMC ramp spells on early turns to cast Pantlaza on Turn 4, immediately generating card advantage via its Discover 4 trigger. On Turn 5, the deck casts high-toughness Dinosaurs like Gishath, Sun's Avatar, Quartzwood Crasher, or Trumpeting Carnosaur, cascading into free spells and creating a high-power board presence. The deck closes games around Turn 7 through overwhelming combat damage assisted by trample, Akroma's Will, and Return of the Wildspeaker. While the deck features dense functional redundancy and strong recovery via its commander, it relies on natural card draws and Discover randomness due to an absence of targeted tutors. Its interaction suite relies on quality spot removal and creature-based sweepers, remaining susceptible to well-timed board wipes.
