Deck overview

This Abzan lifegain deck is built around Betor, Ancestor's Voice, turning life gained into +1/+1 counters and life lost into reanimation. The primary plan is to establish early Soul Warden effects, cast Betor, then chain lifegain triggers into a massive board. Secondary paths are Felidar Sovereign's 40-life alternate win and Aetherflux Reservoir's life-payment finisher, with combat as a fallback. Heliod, Sun-Crowned and Archangel of Thune act as force multipliers, converting every life gain event into counters. The deck has strong removal and recursion but no counterspells, so it wins through incremental value rather than combo.
