Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck uses Ayara, First of Locthwain to turn creature deployment and sacrifice into steady card advantage and table-wide life drain. The deck curves into recurring creatures such as Nine-Lives Familiar and Gollum, Patient Plotter, sacrificing them to fuel Ayara's draw ability while draining opponents whenever black creatures enter. As the game advances, it escalates pressure using high-impact threats like Grave Titan, Breach the Multiverse, and Rise of the Dark Realms. It also contains a two-card infinite life-drain combo using Bloodthirsty Conqueror and Marauding Blight-Priest. With 36 basic Swamps and zero mana acceleration, the deck plays on curve rather than racing, relying on creature removal like Feed the Swarm and Hero's Downfall to manage opposing threats while steadily grinding down life totals.
