Deck overview

This deck harnesses The Wise Mothman to execute a hybrid strategy of group mill, aggressive +1/+1 counter scaling, and sudden combo finishes. Early mana acceleration lets you cast the commander on turn 3. As players mill nonland cards during rad upkeeps and combat, Mothman rapidly distributes counters across your board, turning utility creatures into major threats. Draw engines like Danny Pink and Fathom Mage capitalize on these counters to keep your hand full of interaction and protection spells. The deck wins by making its large creatures unblockable with Herald of Secret Streams, draining life totals with Syr Konrad, the Grim, or executing an infinite mill-drain loop using Duskmantle Guildmage and Mindcrank. Strong interaction and protection spells ensure your board survives while advancing your win condition.
