Commander: Rootha, Mastering the Moment

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Izzet spellslinger-token hybrid is helmed by Rootha, Mastering the Moment, who turns every instant/sorcery cast before combat into a massive flying, hasty Elemental. The deck's identity is redundant token generation: Rionya, Fire Dancer, Manaform Hellkite, Prismari Pianist, Magnus the Red, Determined Iteration, and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer all convert spell-casting into a growing evasive army, while copy effects like Twinflame, Rite of Replication, and Quantum Misalignment multiply it. Rootha is an accelerant rather than a mandatory engine; the 99 is full of parallel effects, so losing her slows but does not stop the plan. The primary win is combat inevitability: Full Throttle creates two extra combats (each re-triggering Rootha), Furygale Flocking puts evasive attackers on every opponent, and Surge to Victory overruns while chaining free spell copies. No infinite combos exist here; the deck wins through board growth and extra-combat bursts.
