Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir Zombie tribal and aristocrats strategy led by Gisa and Geralf. The primary game plan establishes an early board of resilient Zombie creatures and self-mill enablers before deploying the commander on Turn 4 to unlock consistent turn-by-turn recursion from the graveyard. In the mid-game, the deck scales its board presence using powerful tribal lords like Death Baron and Undead Warchief, token engines such as Diregraf Colossus and Necroduality, and asymmetric board control from Noxious Ghoul. Critical onset occurs around Turn 6 with high-impact payoffs like Rooftop Storm, Zombie Apocalypse, or Gray Merchant of Asphodel. The deck closes the game around Turn 8 through evasive wide attacks combined with aristocrat life drain from Diregraf Captain and Vengeful Dead. While resilient against ordinary creature destruction, the deck is vulnerable to mass graveyard exile, enchantment-based hate, and fast combo strategies.
