Deck overview

Bello, Bard of the Brambles leads an aggressive Gruul stompy deck that turns 4+ CMC non-Equipment artifacts and non-Aura enchantments into 4/4 indestructible, hasty Elemental beaters on your turn. Supported by 17 low-cost ramp pieces, the deck accelerates Bello into play on Turn 2 or 3 and follows up with heavy-hitting permanents starting on Turn 4. Each animated beater draws a card upon dealing combat damage, transforming offensive pressure into massive, sustained card advantage. The deck quickly escalates into a game-ending state by deploying damage doublers like Unnatural Growth, Gratuitous Violence, and Berserkers' Onslaught, or unblockable effects like Bedlam. Because animated permanents revert to non-creature artifacts and enchantments during opponents' turns, they naturally dodge sorcery-speed creature sweepers. While vulnerable to spot removal targeting Bello and mass exile effects like Farewell, the deck's high functional redundancy and protective spells provide swift recovery and lethal multi-player combat finishes by Turn 7.
