Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red storm and big-mana spellslinger strategy commanded by The Scarlet Witch. The commander reduces the generic mana cost of instant and sorcery spells with mana value 4 or greater by her power. By enhancing her power with cheap combat tricks and equipment such as Brute Force, Hero's Blade, and Blazing Crescendo, the deck reduces expensive draw spells, rituals, and board wipes to just one or two red mana. Once the discount engine is online, the deck chains massive impulse draw spells like Path of the Pyromancer, Inspired Tinkering, and Apex of Power into large mana rituals like Mana Geyser and Jeska's Will. It finishes opponents in a single explosive turn using table-wide burn spells such as Crackle with Power and Jaya's Immolating Inferno, or by stacking damage triggers with Fiery Inscription and Guttersnipe.
