Deck overview

Mono-blue draw-go control built around Katara, Waterbending Master. Katara's role is the experience-counter engine: instants cast on opponents' turns make her a repeatable draw engine once she attacks. The primary plan is to chain instant-speed spells, accumulate experience counters, and turn those counters into huge hands. Talrand and Murmuring Mystic provide flying tokens as a secondary path, while Psychosis Crawler converts the same card draw into life loss. No true infinite combo is present; the deck finishes with Laboratory Maniac plus a massive Tolarian Winds or Pull from Tomorrow. The Unagi of Kyoshi Island and Teferi's Ageless Insight act as supporting legendary draws. The deck uses 12 counterspells to control the stack and Hullbreaker Horror to remove resolved permanents.
