Deck overview

This deck is a mono-green tribal aggro strategy led by Beorn the Fierce. The primary game plan accelerates mana on Turns 1 and 2 to deploy cheap Bears such as Ayula, Queen Among Bears, Mother Bear, and Wilson, Refined Grizzly. Casting Beorn the Fierce on Turn 4 establishes a repeatable card advantage engine that draws two cards every combat while providing an anthem and trample counters. The deck transitions into a lethal threat on Turn 5 by casting decisive overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, or Beastmaster Ascension. Backup powerhouses such as Surrak and Goreclaw and Lumra, Bellow of the Woods provide resilience and alternative combat paths if the commander is removed. While the deck boasts high redundancy and explosive damage output, its reliance on sorcery-speed creature deployment makes it vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and heavy interactive pods.
