Deck overview

Skullbriar is an aggressive +1/+1-counter voltron deck. The primary plan is to cast the commander on turn two, attack immediately with haste, and stack counter multipliers-Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, Doubling Season, and Corpsejack Menace-on every combat trigger. One-turn pump effects like Visions of Dominance or Invigorating Surge turn a normal swing into a near-lethal hit, while Rogue's Passage closes out commander damage. The Ozolith is the hidden backup commander, storing Skullbriar's counters if it leaves; Vigor and Slippery Bogbonder protect the board. A secondary beatdown path uses Kalonian Hydra, Old Gnawbone, and Beorn if Skullbriar is priced out. There are no infinite combos; the deck is linear, redundant, and reliant on its hasty commander.
