Format: Commander

Commander: Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-white deck builds a single large creature, usually Anti-Venom, Horrifying Healer, and protects it while it attacks for lethal commander damage. The commander doubles as a recursion engine and a damage sponge: his cast trigger returns a key creature, and his damage-prevention ability turns all incoming damage into +1/+1 counters. The deck also has a secondary equipment/aura package that draws cards through Sram and Puresteel Paladin, and a hidden combo line using Black Panther, Most Dangerous plus Dawnsire, Sunstar Dreadnought to deal 100 damage to a creature or planeswalker. The primary plan is to suit up the commander with Auras and Equipment, keep him alive with protection spells, and win through repeated commander damage or a large Dawnsire attack.
