Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a five-color Dragon tribal battlecruiser deck helmed by The Ur-Dragon, built to cheat on mana through an extensive density of cost reducers and then bury the table under overwhelming airborne threat mass. The plan is straightforward: develop ramp and a dragon-cost reducer, deploy The Ur-Dragon to draw cards and put permanents into play for free on every attack, and chain high-impact Dragons like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Scourge of the Throne, and Terror of the Peaks into a game-ending board. The primary win is combat damage fueled by cards like Atarka, World Render and Twinflame Tyrant; secondary paths include the alternate win condition of Call the Spirit Dragons, explosive token generation from Lathliss, Dragon Queen and Ancient Gold Dragon, and the occasional combo loop via Savage Ventmaw with extra combat effects.
