Commander: The Infamous Cruelclaw

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a The Infamous Cruelclaw Rakdos "cheat the curve" deck. The commander turns a single combat hit into a free/one-discard spell cast from exile, and the whole list is built to maximize how often that trigger fires. The primary path to victory is a single explosive multi-combat turn: Port Razer, Scourge of the Throne, and the extra-combat sorceries create repeated combat phases, while double-strike effects like Fireshrieker and Berserkers' Onslaught double both the Cruelclaw triggers and the extra-combat triggers. The finishers are hasty, annihilator-carrying Eldrazi such as Ulamog's Crusher, Pathrazer of Ulamog, and Artisan of Kozilek, backed by a heavy reanimation package. The deck is not an infinite-combo deck; it is a high-variance, high-ceiling combat-value deck that can also grind through Breach the Multiverse, Etali, Primal Storm, and Fevered Suspicion.
