Deck overview

This deck is a tuned Mardu aggressive strategy built around Kaalia of the Vast. The primary goal is accelerating mana on Turn 2, casting Kaalia on Turn 3, and attacking on Turn 4 to put enormous Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Cheating mana costs allows the deck to establish sudden board superiority while bypassing normal casting restrictions. Key combat payoffs include Master of Cruelties for instant eliminations, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames for creature sweeping, and Scourge of the Throne for additional combat phases. Attack triggers are multiplied using Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Windcrag Siege. Efficient spot removal like Swords to Plowshares and Terminate answers high-priority threats, while protection pieces like Lightning Greaves, Boros Charm, and Reconnaissance ensure Kaalia survives combat and targeted interaction to close the game by Turn 6.
