Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is built around Kona, Rescue Beastie, leveraging dense low-cost ramp to deploy the commander on Turn 3. On Turn 4, the deck taps Kona via combat or utility tap enablers like Springleaf Drum, Survivors' Encampment, or Relic of Legends to trigger its Survival ability in the second main phase. This cheats massive game-ending permanents such as Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Worldspine Wurm, Vaultborn Tyrant, or Nyxbloom Ancient directly into play. Once a giant creature hits the board, the deck chains massive power-based draw spells like Rishkar's Expertise, Return of the Wildspeaker, and Last March of the Ents to flood the battlefield with threats. Trample enablers, power-doubling from Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, and overrun pumps from Tyvar, the Pummeler allow the deck to deal lethal combat damage across all three opponents by Turn 6.
