Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Jund midrange engine commanded by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, dedicated to weaponizing -1/-1 counters for card advantage, board control, and asymmetric attrition. By combining efficient early ramp with dense counter-distributing creatures like Soul Snuffers, Carnifex Demon, and Skinrender, the deck converts counter placement into rapid card draw while steadily draining opposing life totals. Stax-lite elements like Kulrath Knight shut down opposing combat, while Necroskitter and The Reaper, King No More steal enemy threats that die under wither damage. Payoffs like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Obelisk Spider, and All Will Be One rapidly scale the board, turning every counter distribution into lethal burn, token swarms, and card flow. The list operates without infinite combos, relying on compounding resource disparity, resilient graveyard recursion, and wide combat pressure to close games around Turn 7.
