Casual Kokusho by blamm1

Format: Commander

Commander: Kokusho, the Evening Star

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Mono-black aristocrats built to loop Kokusho, the Evening Star for repeated 5-life drains. You set up sacrifice outlets and Swamp-based ramp, cast the 6-mana commander, then sacrifice and reanimate it to trigger its death ability multiple times. Doublers like Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Drivnod, Carnage Dominus and converters like Sanguine Bond, Vito, Enduring Tenacity and Defiling Daemogoth turn each death into 10-20 life loss per opponent. Secondary paths use Gray Merchant of Asphodel devotion drains, Ayara, First of Locthwain incremental pings, and Bolas's Citadel as a card-advantage engine when the graveyard is pressured.
