Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This deck is a life-gain-focused token populate strategy helmed by Trostani, Selesnya's Voice. The primary plan is to generate a wide board of creature tokens, leverage Trostani's life-gain triggers (from any creature entering - including opponents' creatures), and then use populate to double your token presence exponentially. The deck also packs a rich life-gain package that can fuel payoffs like Aetherflux Reservoir or Storm Herd for a massive angry grip. Backup bread routes include the Halo Fountain win condition (untap 15 tokens) and explosive set-ups from Exalted Sunborn to double token generation. The deck is playable without its commander (other populate engines like Growing Ranks and Song of the Worldsoul keep the engine online), but Trostani accelerates the board to a whole new level.
