Gruul Raph & Mikey Battlecruisers by HawthornVine

Format: Commander

Commander: Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Raph & Mikey, Troublemakers is a Gruul 'cheat into combat' deck built around the commander's attack trigger repeatedly pulling high-power creatures from the library onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. The primary plan is to ramp to seven mana, cast Raph & Mikey, then chain attack triggers into giant beaters while damage doublers, double strike, and extra-combat spells turn one big swing into a kill. Secondary paths are hard-casting top-end threats like Apex Devastator or Worldspine Wurm and using Moraug's landfall extra combat. There is no true hidden commander; Raphael, the Nightwatcher and Absorbing Man and Titania are force multipliers rather than the engine.
