Roku Firestick by user6263894

Format: Commander

Commander: Avatar Roku, Firebender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Avatar Roku, Firebender converts every attack declaration, your own and your opponents', into six red mana that lasts through combat. The deck pairs that mana with goad effects, firebending creatures, and extra combat steps to chain combats and close the game. The primary plan is to assemble Roku with Aggravated Assault or Hellkite Charger and a "don't lose red mana" effect such as Ashling, Flame Dancer or Leyline Tyrant, then loop repeated combats for commander damage. Secondary plans use goaded enemy creatures, Death Kiss, War Cadence, and direct burn to grind out tables. The Legend of Roku // Avatar Roku in the 99 acts as a second Roku, though it arrives later.
