Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord commands a Grixis midrange deck centered on Orc Army creation, discard engines, and Ring temptation mechanics. Sauron provides continuous board presence by amassing Orcs whenever opponents cast spells, while granting rapid hand cycling whenever the Ring tempts you. The deck translates rapid card turnover into value and board control through discard payoffs like Archfiend of Ifnir, Bone Miser, and Liliana's Caress. You secure victory by turning massive Orc armies and high-power threats into lethal combat damage using Isengard Unleashed, Embercleave, or a one-sided Living Death wipe, supplemented by direct burn damage from All Will Be One.
