Max Speed, The Best Gimmick by Slimetime2453

Format: Commander

Commander: Tsagan, Raider Warlord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu deck is an attack-trigger, token-generating aggro build built around the start-your-engines speed mechanic. Tsagan anchors the team as a double-strike pump, turning every first/double-strike creature into a global +1/+0 buff and eventually granting the rest of the team first strike at max speed. The primary plan is to raise speed to 4 quickly, go wide with token and counter producers, then chain extra combat phases from Aurelia, Port Razer, Full Throttle, and All-Out Assault to finish all opponents. Secondary lines include the Mardu Siegebreaker + Port Razer token-copy loop and a swarm-style kill with Isshin and Windcrag Siege doubling attack triggers. The hidden commander is Isshin, Two Heavens as One.
