Deck overview

Taigam, Ojutai Master helms an Azorius control spellslinger deck that wins by combining toxic and infect threats with relentless proliferate engines. Taigam makes instant and sorcery spells uncounterable and grants them rebound after attacking, effectively doubling the value of every draw spell, removal piece, and proliferate trigger. The primary win condition infects all opponents with cards like Prologue to Phyresis or Blighted Agent, then rapidly scales poison counters to ten using rebounded spells such as Experimental Augury and Vivisurgeon's Insight. Alternatively, Approach of the Second Sun offers a sudden uncounterable win condition. Defensive pillowfort pieces and extensive countermagic ensure complete control while the poison clock ticks down.
