Deck overview

This Grixis control-reanimator-mill deck, helmed by Nicol Bolas, the Ravager // Nicol Bolas, the Arisen, aims to disrupt opponents' hands and boards while grinding out value through planeswalkers, recursion, and mill. The commander provides early discard, then transforms into a planeswalker that draws cards, removes threats, and reanimates. The deck's primary win conditions are commander damage from Bolas or other flyers, mill via Glimpse the Unthinkable and Mind Funeral, and cheating out massive threats like Galactus, Devourer of Worlds via Show and Tell or reanimation. A subtheme of exiling and casting from exile (Goliath Daydreamer, Ashiok, Nightmare Muse) adds flexibility. The deck is slow and durdly, relying on incremental advantage rather than fast combos.
