Dragon Waltz by user8726425

Format: Commander

Commander: Black Waltz No. 3

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Black Waltz No.3 is a Rakdos noncreature-spell burn deck that wins by resolving many Dragon's Approaches in one turn. Thrumming Stone and Locket of Yesterdays turn the redundant 21-copy spell into a chain, while Black Waltz, Fiery Inscription, Guttersnipe, and Wizard tokens convert each cast into extra damage. The deck also runs cheap tutors to find Thrumming Stone and dragons such as Hoarding Broodlord or Kokusho as backup. A secondary path uses Kuja, Twinflame Tyrant, and Solphim to double or triple the burn so a smaller number of Approaches can finish the table. Its play is linear: develop mana, reduce or copy spells, then dump burn. No hidden commander; Black Waltz is the intended face and the main spell-count payoff.
