Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis graveyard midrange strategy helmed by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. The early game focuses on deploying cheap looters and landing Norman Osborn on Turn 2, leveraging his unblockable attacks to connive and sculpt the hand. On Turn 4, Osborn transforms into Green Goblin, unlocking explosive graveyard velocity: all discarded nonland cards gain mayhem, and spells cast from the graveyard receive a {2} generic mana discount. This engine transforms looting into card advantage rather than card parity. As the game transitions into the midgame, the deck capitalizes on discard-triggered payoffs such as Archfiend of Ifnir for board control, Bone Miser for mana generation, and Brallin, Skyshark Rider or Glint-Horn Buccaneer for direct table-wide burn. The deck wins by pairing relentless burn triggers with evasive combat damage from pumped connivers and token swarms.
